Our mailing address (the one that comes up when you Google "Camp Flintlock") is for our headquarters, not our campsite. No events take place at our headquarters.

This is not an RV campgrounds.



Residential summer camps, a number of Field Trips, and our annual Colonial Faire take place at the Camp Flintlock Campsite (218 Hickory Grove Church Road, Four Oaks, NC). Click below to view in Google Maps, or scroll down for printable driving directions.

From Raleigh:

Approximately 35 min

Take I-40 East to Exit 319 (McGee's Crossroads).

Turn left onto NC-210 East. Continue for 2.4 miles.

Turn right at gas station onto Lassiter Road. Continue for 1.8 miles. Watch out for a sharp bend in the road after a couple hundred yards.

Landmark: Two church buildings on your right.

Take a sharp right between the two churches onto Hickory Grove Church Road. Continue for 1.1 miles.

Turn left into the Camp Flintlock Campsite. You will see a low fence and two large flags--this is the campsite. If you come to a stop sign, you have gone too far.

Follow the gravel road through the field and along the treeline. When the road turns into the woods, leave it and park in the field. There should already be a Camp Flintlock truck/trailer parked there when you arrive.


From Wilmington:

Approximately 1 hr 35 min

Take I-40 W to Exit 325 (Benson).

Turn right onto NC-242/Woodall Dairy Road. Continue for 0.2 miles.

Take first left onto Federal Road. Continue for 4 miles.

Turn right onto Grace Road. Continue for 0.6 miles. Federal Rd, Grace Rd, and Raleigh Rd form a triangle. If you miss the turn onto Grace Rd, continue on Federal Rd until it ends, then resume following the directions below.

Turn right on Raleigh Road. Continue for 0.3 miles.

Take the first left onto King Mill Road. Continue for 1.1 miles.

Take the second left onto Hickory Grove Church Road. Continue for about 1000 ft.

Turn left into the Camp Flintlock Campsite. You will see a low fence and two large flags--this is the campsite. If you come to a bend in the road, you have gone too far.
